AGARTALA, May 29 (TIWN): Although huge wastage of blood units in Tripura are reported every year, but blood donation camps have become regular routines for Tripura’s Ministers.
In last year 290 blood units were wasted, said report.
Minister Badal Choudhury on Sunday has inaugurated a blood donation camp in Agartala organized by Akhil Bharatiya Terapanth Yuva Parishad in the name of ‘Mega Blood Donation Drive-2016’ at Rabindra Bhawan, Agartala.
Tripura Health Minister Badal Choudhury was present as the chief guest of the programme.
It’s to be mentioned here that whereas malaria has occupied the whole state Tripura the health dept. has planned to finish its duty with Minister’s one-day-visit at Gnadachara on Monday.
Whereas everyday people are dying due to malaria attacks over hills, the Health Minister is busy with blood donation camps and public rallies
