KAMALPUR, May 18 (TIWN): The ‘go as you like’ practices continued at the rampant in every aspect of the state. And the violation of rules and laws became a show of power as it were. Continuing the practice at full swing the railway workers found happily using domestic LPG cylinders for conducting maintenance works at Ambassa yesterday.
More importantly they continued the work in front of B.B. Gas Agency for hours together. However, the happy works got intervened and stopped as DCM Anurag Sen arrived at the spot and seized the cylinder.
According to the information, the railway workers were conducting some maintenance works at the railway over bridge at Ambassa in front of the B.B. Gas Agency. In spite of having industrial cylinder, the workers used the domestic LPG cylinders to perform joining and riveting works.
The locale informed the matter to the sub-divisional administration. Then after almost five to six hours the DCM Anurag Sen reached the spot. He seized the domestic cylinder and warned the workers to not to attempt such effort in future.
However, the locale raised the question that, without the nexus with the B.B. Gas Agency how the workers could avail the domestic LPG cylinder. Now, it got informed from the part of the Ambassa sub-divisional administration that, the matter would be handled strictly.
