AGARTALA, May 6 (TIWN): INTTUC Tripura state committee in a press meet on Friday had announced confirmed victory of Trinamool congress at WB election before the declaration of the results.
Claiming victory of Trinamool in WB election the Tripura based INTTUC party on Friday in a press meet said that they will observe a victory rally in the state on 20 may as a part of the victory of TMC in west bengal. The rally will begin from press club sharp at 11 in the morning and will move across several part s of the city rising the slogans of TMC high.
The All India Trinamool is an Indian regional political party based in West Bengal. Founded on 1 January 1998 as a breakaway faction of the Indian National Congress, the party is led by its founder and current Chief Minister of West Bengal Mamata Banerjee. Prior to the 2014 general election it was the sixth largest party in the Lok Sabha with 19 seats; following that election, it is currently the fourth largest party in the Lok Sabha with 34 seats.
On 18 September 2012, TMC Chief, Mamata Banerjee, announced her decision to withdraw support to the UPA after the TMC's demands to undo government-instituted changes including FDI in retail, increase in the price of diesel and limiting the number of subsidised cooking gas cylinders for households, were not met.
