Slow internet service becomes hurdle in PM Modi’s ‘Digital India’ dream in NE state Tripura

AGARTALA, May 4 (TIWN): Whereas in the era of E-book and E-commerce young generation of the state trying to compete the world being a part of digital India movement, slow internet speed has remained as the fate of landlocked state Tripura till day.

The delivery of broadband speeds here has been really slow, and in most cases it’s just half of what is promised by operators.

Tripura is frequently suffering from poor internet connectivity, whereas many works are depend upon internet.

Banking works are hampered due to the slow connectivity.

Tripura BSNL subscribers complained continuously regarding the erratic broadband service by the company. 

Recently the Chief Secretary Y P Sing held a meeting with BSNL officials to dig out the reason behind slow internet. According to the report, Tripura Chief Minister also wanted to know the reason behind slow Internet speed in Tripura.

But the condition yet unchanged.

According to the public, the poor broadband service by BSNL has badly been affecting their business.

Although people are using of Smart phones, tabs here but the state reels under poor internet connection.

From Bank, ATM to everywhere state is under the curse of poor internet.

The administration is not taking any initiative to sort out the problems. The BSNL subscribers have placed repeated complaints at the local BSNL departments across the state, but in vain.
