State suffers from Malaria attack, unavailability of doctors hits rural Tripura’s primary heath service

KHOWAI, May 3 (TIWN): Whereas one has died due to malaria attack, many are on the verge of death as Malaria is reporting from rural and interior parts of Tripura.

The Khowai District Hospital is reportedly, more in number of malaria patients.

Already Malaria has killed one named Arabinda Debbarma (27) on Monday. He died at Khowai Hospital, whereas many are ill at there.

 

Lack of doctors and proper infrastructure is making the situation worst and patient-parities have become helpless.

 

The malaria attack has hit the area at Jamtila under Khowai District.

 

Malaria, which is a kind of strong fever caused by a protozoan parasite which invades the red blood cells and is transmitted by mosquitoes in many tropical and subtropical regions.

 

Tripura has been battling malaria for last many years, but rural people due to bad quality of water, food and unhealthy life-style are more victim of it.

 

According to the official report the family is extremely poor and doesn't have access to basic healthcare since he lives in a remote village.
 

Village after village has been affected, and a majority of the dead are children.


Tension has gripped the state with the outbreak of malaria once again in state.
