AGARTALA, April 30 (TIWN): Tripura Congress which had broken down with its various members' resignations, is further suffering from internal clashes, especially after Gopal Roy was selected as the CLP leader.

As already Congress legislators have shown their agitations and sent letter to the Assembly speaker---against the decision taken by PCC Chief to make Gopal Roy as the opposition leader as the replacement of Sudip Roy Barman,--so the internal clash is increasing among the party members and the Top leaders.

His appointment was proposed by president Birajit Sinha and V Narayanswami, himself  issued his appointment. But the criticism is raising inside the Congress party office , which is breaking down the party in a far extend way.

PCC Chief alone is just unable to manage the clashes after the leaders had resigned from their respective posts, said sources.  

It’s to be mentioned here that the Congress in Tripura was already suffering from political disunity due to their bonding with the CPI-M party here. Although controversial but it’s well know that Congress always helped CPI-M to come to the power, as a result of which CPI-M was in power forever.

But after the  resigning and continuous clashes among the tribal members, now the party’s extinction is in trouble and fate of Congress is high at risk in the coming assembly election-2018.
