Scorching heat with frequent power snag makes life miserable in Agartala

AGARTALA, April 29 (TIWN): Despite of several tall claims by the Tripura State Electricity Corporation Limited (TSECL), the state is facing serious load shedding problem due to drop of supply of power within the state.

The daily life of the citizens in the state has been affected due frequent power cuts. Sometimes the power cut enforce for long one hour every day.

It has been mentioned the corporation where claims to ensure load shedding free state on the other hand the frequent power cuts creating misery for the people of the state.

However, according to sources it has been alleged that the disruption in the power supply are mostly occurring due to the gas deficit and lack of gas supply to the power plants.

According to the residence, they are facing power cuts at night or in the evening. Adding to it they also said that if the power cuts are occurred due to the maintenance work than why the load shedding is given at night or in the evening.

In rural areas, longer hours of load-shedding are in force to make up for the shortfall in the availability of power. 

Power Dept. of Tripura, under the regime of Chief Minister Manik Sarkar has become one of the most disable departments of Tripura.

Tripura’s power which was earlier running by its hydro-plants is fully dependent upon the Plants here, where Tripura Govt. is under huge debts.

As a result, the future of Tripura’s smooth power supplying is at a risk and people here are frequently suffering from load-shedding.

TSECL which generates power across Tripura is least bothered about the problems.

According to the report in village areas, with a light wave power goes off, but if the locals inform the Power House at their places, nobody takes action immediately to repair the damaged part, which also risks the lives of common people.

Being the power Minister Manik Dey who often claims tall regarding power service in Tripura is silent over such issues.

 More over in the tempting weather the necessity of water enlarges, but due to power cuts often it interrupts in storing water in town area’s houses.  Moreover after tiresome days when it’s the time to relax at night, the power goes which is affecting people’s lives. Even in the last few nights power was cut off in the midnight in many areas. As a result it is affecting the health of common people too.
