AGARTALA, April 17 (TIWN) : Under the regime of Tripura Chief Minister Manik Sarkar, blue eyed boy Principal Secretary GSG Ayyanger actively boasting various achievements but other than endless scams, there is no sign of real development under MGNREGA schemes in Tripura.

Tainted IAS official GSG Ayyanger, who is accused of many scams in past from Hyderbad timer scandal to Singareni Collieries.also vigilance probed and booted out  by AP Govt  also donned many Tripura media headlines as chief consprator of corruptions.

However, now Ayyanger is trying his best to get more funds with atleast Rs. 1600 crores, but central govt sent a letter warning for many irregularities.

Tripura Govt. claims that with that Central Funding, govt. will bring sustainable development & arrange livelihood of atleast 30,000 people.

Ayyanger during his visit in Delhi where he presented the state’s MGNREGA allocation, he asked the joint secretary of RD Dept. Apaprajita Sarani Rs. 1600 crore for the state’s labour budget. 

However, Joint Secretary of the Ministry of Rural Development did not finalize the outlay, rather sent a warning letter mentioning under achiever mandaysduring 2015-16.

It is to be mentioned here that durng  Aparajita Sarengi’s , (Joint Secretary of RD) Dec '15 visit in state, RD Dept. under Ayyanger had to run pillar to post to paint a rosy picture of Tripura's MGNREGA.

But unfortunately, Ayyanger’s Delhi visit has not been fruitful yet now, as central has not sanctioned a penny yet.

He also mentioned about raising plantation and digging ponds and broader houses etc. But in reality everyone knows instead of increasing the living standards,RD Dept. workers are only making inflating with highest man-days, but no developmental work in reality was done in remote parts of Tripura.

With the recent report, 527 villages are under massive corruption during the era of Principal Secretary CSG Ayyangar. The audit report which had been submitted by RD Dept. related to the Hejamara West Block, was totally disproportionate and imbalanced.

So far GSG Ayyanger failed to answer about the series of  RD Dept embezzlements in central govt sponsored MGNREGA scheme.
