AGARTALA, April 12 (TIWN): Aiming to beautify the Children Park located in the city of Agartala, Chief Minister Manik Sarkar on Tuesday along with Public Works Minister Badal Chowdhury, Agartala Municipal Corporation Mayor Dr. Prafullajit Sinha and other visited the construction site. During the visiting hour, Chief Minister Manik Sarkar along with the PWD Minister, AMC Mayor inspected the construction site. While inspecting the site, it has been mentioned the park needed additional infrastructure to attract the public. The park which was in disuse would not only be restored to its grandeur but also be further beautified. It is to be mentioned here that construction for an open stage is being going on at the Children Park. According to the planned project, the open staged is being established for conducting various cultural programmes, conference and many other programmes. Mentioning about the detail of the ongoing work in the Children Park, Agartala Municipal Corporation Mayor Dr. Prafullajit Sinha said that it will take two to three months to filling up the gaps.In the visit Chief Minister Manik Sarkar along with others walked cross the park and investigated the site properly and has given his valuable comments on it.
Besides, Chief Minister also asked about the gate which was supposed to be extended.
Besides, he also urged the agency to complete the work on time so that people can be benefitted.
It is to be mentioned here that having a play area that is engaging, challenging and fun for children is very important to help learning and development in so many ways.
The park is the perfect place to set up play times with other like-minded parents.
