AGARTALA, April 12 (TIWN): Commenting on the sudden resignation of three party members of Tripura Pradesh Congress Committee, PCC President Birajit Sinha claims that the party's state unit condemns the alliance of the Congress party with the CPI-M. Talking to TIWN correspondent on Monday, PCC President Birajit Sinha stated that Tripura Pradesh Congress Committee was always against the unholy CPM-Congress party alliance, but State unit is helpless as central leadership of Rahul Gandhi, Sonia Gandhi made the most bizzare political steps of pre-poll alliance with arch enemy CPI-M. Regretting over the issue of sudden resignation of the party members, Sinha said that it is pesonal decision of particular persons that they are interested to work for the party or not. He further said that there is not much in his hand or to comment over the issue as AICC sent show cause notice and Sudip Barman's fight with Sonia Gandhi led Congress leadership.Later, again stressing over the alliance issue he stated that Tripura Pradesh Congress Committee is never going to support the alliance on the state.

If the other states like Bengal, Congress may think that the alliance will bring fruitful result to the party but the fact is  that TPC is not supporting the alliance, added.

Condemning over the decision of the alliance, PCC President stated that in the year 2005, CPI-M withdrew its support from the Congress party claiming that the Indo-US nuclear deal was a threat for the country.

Earlier, he mentioned that every time CPI-M tried to dump the Congress Party during UPA-II.

However, he said that the decision it totally up to the members of the party that they will to work for the party or not. Besides, he also said that he is no body to stop them.

Further, he also mentioned that PCC is also going on strike on April 18, protesting against the CPI-M party.

It is to be mentioned here that the protest will also include demand for the resignation of Chief Minister Manik Sarkar for his alleged involvement in the assassination of former state Health Minister BimnalSinha.

It is to be mentioned here that protesting against the alliance of CPI-M and Congress Party Sudip Roy Barman on Thursday placed resignation letter to the speaker of the Tripura Assembly Ramendra Chandra Debnath.

Expressing despair over the alliance of Congress and CPI-M, Barman stated that he is unhappy with the alliance.

He further mentioned that CPI-M has been treating badly over West Bengal, Kerela and Tripura.

In his resignation letter, Barman mentioned about the depression he has been facing to find drastic change in the party policy of Congress.

Similarly, MLA cum working president of Tripura Pradesh Congress Committee Ashish kumar Saha and President of Tripura Pradesh Youth congress Sushanta Chowdhury on Friday announced about their resign from the post.
