Power crisis leading water scarcity statewide

AGARTALA, April 12 (TIWN) : With the increasing power cut here in Tripura, water scarcity has hit the state.

Power disruption is not only hampering daily lives but it affecting upon the basic necessities as water-supplying.

Reportedly, at Udaipur on Monday locals blocked the road due to the long gap of water supplying disruption.

Many times the locals went to the concerned authority, but no action had been taken by Udaipur administration, as a result locals sat on protests.

Due to the road blockage, situation created as immobility of vehicles and passengers inside the vehicles had to suffer a lot in the scorching heat.

However, police went there and controlled the situation.

However, reportedly, in other subdivisions the situation has been worsen. According to  the reports in many places, from the first day of rain power cut has become very frequent.

In ADC areas the scenario is pathetic. Once the power is gone after rain generally power doesn’t come back for many days. This happens due to the poor connectivity coverage at those places.

Reportedly, in many areas common people are suffering badly especially after evening, and the students of those places are frequently facing from load-shedding problems due to the poor connections of electrical lines.
