AGARTALA, April 11 (TIWN): Commenting on the sudden resign of three party members of Tripura Pradesh Congress Committee, PCC President Birajit Sinha claims that the party totally condemns the alliance of the Congress party with the CPI-M. Talking to TIWN correspondent, PCC President Birajit Sinha stated that Tripura Pradesh Congress Committee was always against the party alliance. He further mentioned that Tripura Congress party was totally against the decision of the alliance from the beginning itself. Regretting over the issue of sudden resignation of the party members, Sinha said that it is totally a decision of particular person that they are interested to work for the party or not. He further said that there is nothing in his hand or to comment over the issue. Later, again stressing over the alliance issue he stated that Tripura Pradesh Congress Committee is never going to support the alliance on the state. If the other states think that the alliance will bring fruitful result to the party than let them do but the TPC is not supporting the alliance, added.Condemning over the decision of the alliance, PCC President stated that in the year 2005, CPI-M withdrew its support from the Congress party claiming that the Indo-US nuclear deal was a threat for the country.

Earlier, he mentioned that every time CPI-M tried to dump the Congress Party during UPA-II.

However, he said that the decision it totally up to the members of the party that they will to work for the party or not. Besides, he also said that he is no body to stop them.

Further, he also mentioned that PCC is also going on strike on April 18, protesting against the CPI-M party.

It is to be mentioned here that the protest will also include demand for the resignation of Chief Minister Manik Sarkar for his alleged involvement in the assassination of former state Health Minister Bimnal Sinha.

It is to be mentioned here that protesting against the alliance of CPI-M and Congress Party Sudip Roy Barman on Thursday placed resignation letter to the speaker of the Tripura Assembly Ramendra Chandra Debnath.

Expressing despair over the alliance of Congress and CPI-M, Barman stated that he is unhappy with the alliance.

He further mentioned that CPI-M has been treating badly over West Bengal, Kerela and Tripura.

In his resignation letter, Barman mentioned about the depression he has been facing to find drastic change in the party policy of Congress.

Similarly, MLA cum working president of Tripura Pradesh Congress Committee Ashish kumar Saha and President of Tripura Pradesh Youth congress Sushanta Chowdhury on Friday announced about their resign from the post.

They claimed that it is a protest against unethical and opportunist alliance in West Bengal.
