UDAIPUR, April 7 (TIWN) : With the establishment of Gomati District hospital, health service was hoped to be much better in that area, in compared to the past years. But the hospital is proving smaller than the expectation and the authority is in trouble to adjust the set up of Gomati Dist. Hospital with the increasing number of patients at there.
Talking to the Chief Medical officer, for Gomati Dist. Nirumohon Jamatia, he said that health service has been improved at Gomati Dist. Hospital but many problems still exist at there.
Asking about the bed-shortage at Gomati Dist. Hospital, he said, “Beds are sufficient in number, but dept. could not set all the beds till now at Gomati Dist. hospital, which had been sanctioned in the name of the hospital”.
The number of beds are presently more than enough than the size of the hospital and we are unable to set them”, said Jamatia.
“Day by day the number of patients are increasing and creating problems in adjustment”, he added.
Presently, the number of doctors are 24 at Gomati dist. hospital, so there is no problem regarding the service at here.
However, giving details of infrastructure, he further said that the works are almost completed, but few things as the food zone, cycle, proper entrance way yet not completed, as the fund has not been sanctioned.
The main problem with Gomati dist. however, proving as the building construction and its size. The hospital thus has proven as very much insufficient to provide service to the whole district.
Maximum times, due to huge number of patients doctors are unable to manage the situation, said CMO.
