KAMALPUR, April 5 (TIWN): In a bizarre happening a surrendered extremist namely Sajal Reang of Sanaiya Reang Para area under this sub-division found dead in a hilly rivulet yesterday. Police recovered the body from the rivulet and kept for post mortem. After the primary investigation, however, police denounced the possibility of murder behind the death.

According to the police report and the opinion of the local people of Saikarbari and Sanaiya Reang Para, Sajal went from home at night day before yesterday with the Hero Glamour bike of his friend bearing number TR-04-8362. In the yesterday morning, local people found the bike under a culvert in water at Sanaiya Reang Para.

Then the police was informed. Police led by OC Swapan Dasgupta rushed o the spot and recovered the bike. Police, then, continued operation in search of anything else as police became suspicious of tracing the rider. And in that effort, police found the body of the dead body of Sajal in the rivulet almost a kilometer away from the bike.

Then police contacted with the family members of Sajal and they also denounced the possibility of murder. It got revealed that, due to heavy rain, Sajal went out to hunt frogs. And it got speculated that, in that effort he somehow slipped into the gushing rivulet and died. However, police registered case in this regard and continued investigation.
