AGARTALA, April 4 (TIWN) : With the arrival of rainy season here in Tripura, Agartala city has gripped into water logging resulting unhygienic atmosphere everywhere, and chances of deadly diseases and including other water born diseases are increasing here.

Reportedly, major part of  Agartala city is now has gone under water and common people are the worst sufferers.

The rain water, which is flowing all the garbage of Agartala is dominating the whole city as IAS officer / former AMC Commissioner Kiran Gitte started sealing Agartala drains after his govt paid luxary trip to Singapore many years back.

However, Agartala citizens face many problems with the onset of moderate showers as clogged drains overflow and roads turn into drains.

Year after year rain flooding causing only implies that Agartala AMC (Agartala Municipal Corporation) planners yet to learn City planning.

It's a situation going from bad to worse, while no concrete steps are being taken to improve the drainage, the road repair work is being undertaken even after the monsoon has set in, which is adding to daily misery.

In the meanwhile, Chief Minister and his psychophants in PWD, Urban Development Ministry has no time left to attend peoples misery, all went to Assam vacation to enjoy in the name of election campaigning.
