AGARTALA, April 4 (TIWN) : After the rain and storms arrived in state most of the ADC villages and rural areas have lost the power set up there but yet no step has been taken to better the condition.

Reportedly, at Raishyabari area 4 days have been passed that power has gone, but electrical department has no concern about it, resulting in water scarcity, disruption in daily lives and darkness after the evening.

Moreover, due to the negligence of the power dept. many electrical posts are left in risky conditions.

Although many times the locals have complained but the authority has no concern about those issues.

However, such problems are very common in rural area, as the power lines are connected there are in very poor shape. As a result with a blow of wind the power goes off.

Reportedly, at Raishyabari due to a tree has been broken down on the electrical post, the power has gone there. The incident occurred at Gandachara to Raishyabari road. However more than 100 hours have been passed but the condition there has not yet changed.

It has not only cut the power, but has increased the risks of the daily passers there.

At Khowai also the condition is same. At North Tripura and South Tripura the scenario has been worsen after 3 / 4 days rain. But the authority has no concern to repair the lines and solve the issues.

In many backward places of Tripura, especially the tribal areas, no electrical post has been set there also.

Although the cities are decorated with lights and almost less affected from load-shedding but as far as the urban and interior parts are concerned, students are the worst sufferer.

The lines whichever are provided there at ADC and rural areas, are not given in proper manner, resulting in frequent load-shedding after a slight rain.

According to the report, once the power is gone due to some slight rain and thunders, it takes atleast 2-3 days to recover. The power dept. workers come and repair the lines temporarily, but again with the hit of waves the power goes away.
