AGARTALA, April 1 (TIWN): Odia Samaj Tripura in collaboration with Sangeeta Natak Academy organized a programme to celebrate Odisha festival 2016 at Nazrul Kalashetra, here on Friday.
Chief Minister Manik Sarkar inaugurated the programme. Organizers from Odia Samaj, Tripura and others were present in the programme.
The vision of Odia Samaj, Tripura is to promote and propagate Oriya culture in Tripura by bringing together all the people interested in Odisha.
Odia Samaj, Tripura is a strong organization with 100 or more individual and family members. It is a platform for the people with Odishan link to come together and develop closer social and cultural interaction.
The Odia Samaj aims to keep alive the rich heritage of Odishan Culture in the fields of art, music, dance, literature, theatre and cinema among Odias residing in Tripura

Rath Yatra and Durga Puja are the major oriya festivals celebrated worldwide.
