CRS Inspection ends: Trains are all set to roll on the tracks on the eve of Bengali New Year

AGARTALA, April 1 (TIWN): CRS inspection ends. Trial Train reached Kumarghat to Badarpur at 120 KM/PH of Maximum Speed. The trains are all set to roll on the tracks on the eve of Bengali New year. Preparations are going on with full pace.

The much awaited dream of Broad-gauge conversion work is going in full swing at various railway tracks of Agartala.

With the successful run of the railway service between Lumbing and Silchar Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) is working hard at much more faster pace to bring Agartala under the country’s Broad Gauge Network by March 2016.

The successful run of the trains on the broad-gauge track will bring sync with those in the rest of the country and Tripura is gearing up for faster connectivity and communication with several parts of the nation.

In order to make the Agartala Railway Station as perfect station, different works including extension of platforms, creation of new platforms and installation of new BG rail tracks, joining of panel ended successfully.

The workers are leaving no stones unturned to complete the conversion work in the given deadline.

Days are not so far when after the BG (Broad gauge) conversion work, Agartala will also be connected with by BG track with country’s railway network.

The pace of the conversion work shows that Agartala will soon be connected with the BG track to bring in sync with the rest of the country.

With the everyday progress in the conversion work, the common mass of the state is observing a ray of hope for faster communication and transportation in Bengali New Year.
