AGARTALA, March 29 (TIWN) : On the one hand whereas rain has caused massive losses in few places, on the other hand after the prolonged heat this moderate rain has brought relief from scorching heat as well as has given life into the crop fields.
This rain may continue for next few days, according to the MET forecast.
Moreover, the diseases especially which are water born and seasonal diseases would also be decreased with the rain.
Due to heavy heat, since last few days crop fields including plants became lifeless, which have received new life with the arrival of rain here.
Rainfall thus has given relief to Tripura from searing heat wave.
However, temperatures across Tripura have dropped significantly during the last 24 hours due to this weather activity.
However, rain has also caused losses to people as many wounded due to storm and many houses have been broken down.
But for crops it has proven as a kind of blessing.
The cloudy skies unleashed some very welcome rainfall across the state, bringing an end to the dry streak and providing a brief break from the sweltering summer heat.
