CRS inspection begins for railway service in Tripura

AGARTALA, March 27 (TIWN) : To inspect the safety about railway tracks and other issues, the CRS inspection has begun from March 27.

Reportedly, the Commissioner of Railway Safety (CRS) and along with Railway team arrived in Tripura.

Based on their report the raiway service will be started in Tripura.

The CRS team is inspecting the construction work of the Badarpur-Agartala broad gauge railway track for early running of passenger trains in the section.

 It’s to be mentioned here that the assenger train with 6 bogies which arrived at Dharmanagar railway station on Saturday has  arrived at Agartala Rail Station on Sunday morning as a part of a trail run.

The train started from Badarpur on Saturday morning. However, no passenger was inside except railway officials. The officials came in Tripura and inspected the working progress of the railway tracks. 2 high officials including DCM B.K.Misra, R . K Mandal DOM visited here in Tripura and took a survey of various works. Sources said that officials expressed displeasure about the track works and also other ongoing works. The train came at 120 km speed per hour.

It’s to be mentioned here that the railway service with passengers is hopefully to begin here very soon in Tripura. If the work goes like this the full work to connect the whole Tripura with rail line will be completed soon.
