AGARTALA, March 26 (TIWN): In a day long visit to the state on Saturday Union Minister of State for Development of the North-eastern Region (DoNER) Jitendra Singh also attended a BJP party programme at Rabindra Bhavan where at least 5000 party delegates from across the state remain present.

Addressing the programme, the Union Minister is highlighted the BJP led government’s achievements and its budget. This was purely a party programme on how to boost the organization in the Marxist ruled state. However, BJP is planning to form booth level committees across the state by April.

It is to be mentioned here that the party would also organize a rally at Sukantala Road on Sunday where party leader Sunil Deodhar, BJP state president Biplab Deb and other leaders would remain present. A five-member BJP delegation also met Governor Tathagata Roy and gave a memorandum regarding terror tactics of the CPM. In the memorandum, the delegation briefed the Governor about Hrangkhawl para incident in Teliamura.

Clamouring the call for the development of North Eastern states including Tripura, Union Minister of State for Development of the North-eastern Region (DoNER) Jitendra Singh at RS Bhawan gave an open call that only BJP under the initiative of Prime Minister Narendra Modi can bring development to the state.

Criticizing the state ruled left front government, Dr. Singh said that days are not so far when the people themselves will threw away the government from the state and will give a call to corruption free government. Corruption is touching the high sky under the rule of the left front government, claimed Singh.

None of the government at the central has so far thought about the development of the NE states and only after BJP came into power, Prime Minister Narendra Modi took the initiative to eye for the development of the NE states including Tripura, added Minister Singh.

The state is lagging behind only due to the misrule of the left front government, and BJP led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi will bring the limelight of development in the state.

Emphasizing on the issue of development Union Minister said BJP will adversely look for the welfare schemes and infrastructure development in Tripura.

However, BJP state president Biplab Deb along with other dignitaries remained present in the program.
