DHARMANAGAR, March 24 (TIWN) : Once again mid-night fire has shaken Dharmanagar subdivision, when a 12 wheeler truck bearing the number ASO1 FC 9024 was burnt into ashes.
Reportedly, the truck was on the way from Guwahati to Agartala bearing various items worth atleast Rs. 70 lakhs.
The owner has been identified as Satyakar Dutta, resident of Guawahati.
The incident took place at Radhapur, Dharmanagar on Thursday early morning at around 3 am.
Aleast 3 fire brigade rushed to that spot and it took around 2 hours to control over the fire.
Massive losses have caused to the owner due to the incident. However, allegations are coming that the incident was intentionally done by the owner and the driver to claim for the insurance, as the truck was found remote 7 to 8 km far from the town.
It’s to be mentioned here that one after one fire incidents are increasing at Dharmanagar either it’s a vehicle or shops.
In the last 1 month 3 trucks have been burnt at Dharmanagar.
