AGARTALA, March 23 (TIWN): In a bizarre incident, Police of GB outpost on Wednesday recovered a body of 50-year old man from a pond in front of a dairy farm at Indranagar.
According to the police report, the body was of Shyamal Raha residence of Nandan Nagar. He has left behind his wife and brother.
At present the body is taken for post mortem at GBP Hospital.
It is suspected that it can be a murder case or a suicide case but investigation is going on to find out the actual reason.
However, if we go through the earlier reports the capital is severely hit with the dead bodies. It has become a dumping zone of dead bodies.
Besides, along with the capital the interior parts of the state are also massively hit with the rampant murders in the state.
On the other hand, reports of the unidentified dead bodies have become a daily feed for the news papers and the channels in the State.
It is to be mentioned here that infant bodies have also become rampant in various area in the capital and in the interior parts of the state.
Bodies of several persons who have been killed are thrown on roads, drains, railway tracks and secluded areas and they are unidentified.
However, the State has become a hub of crimes where one after other day heinous incident related to murder is reported from every corner and police is simply playing the role silent spectator.
Despite of setting up several Police stations in every major parts of the state it seems like people are yet unsafe.
However, this incident has triggered panic among the locals of the area. Police is further investigating case and the body has been sent for post mortem examination.
