Malaria grips remote hamlets

SABROOM, March 9 (TIWN): Many people have fallen ill due to malaria in different remote rural hamlets across South district ahead of dry spell.
Reportedly, a huge number of patients are suffering from malaria at Rupaichari,Satchand,Jolaibari,Bokafa & Poangbari RD Block area.
Though, no incident of death yet has been reported, but some areas like Debipur , Kowaifung,Manu Bankul,Baishnabpur, Ailmara, Magroom,Chatakchari have been affected by malaria and diarrhea in last few days.
According to sources, most of the malaria patients were admitted at different PHCs.
l While talking to TIWN, the CMO said that situation was under control now.
