TELIAMURA, March 4 (TIWN) : Kalyanpur Police, under Teliamura subdivision has arrested one accused in allegation of running gambling business at there.

Reportedly, along with the person a gambling-box has also recovered by kalyanpur Police. He was caught at the hit of the moment when he was running this illegal business over the market.

The accused has been identified as Shankar Debbarma (20).

According to the police report, the accused Shankar Debbarma was spreading gambling among the youths of the area.

A huge number of youths have already been victimized due to this.Police was in search of him since a long time.

 However, it was on Thursday evening that police could catch him with proper evidences.

The Police were informed by sources about his presence in Bara-Maydaan market. However, he is under police custody now. Police is further investigating the case.
