AGARTALA, March 2 (TIWN): A total 172 students are appearing in the TBSE HS examination which has began from Wednesdayacross the state.
Sritama Das, Priyanka Sarkar, Santa Sarkar are the few aspirants who despite of some faults are appearing the exam with all their efforts and hopes in mind.
Altogether 172 disabled students are appearing the examination from different school across the state.
It is to be mentioned here that TBSE has introduced new curriculum activities in the 2016 Board exam.
According to the TBSE notice, all the students enrolled for the 2016 board exam have to write their exams based on new syllabus whereas, the drop out students can continue with old syllabus.
Besides, in the year 2016 opportunities have been created to give supplementary exam within 60 days of duration. The external and single subject holder students will get the opportunity to seat at the practical based exams.
To give the practical exams the concern students would attend practical classes for three months and have to pass in their practical exams in their concern schools.
It has also been announced that the students who will be attempting the 2016 exam has to secure grade A in the concern subjects to seat for the board exam.
At any incident if the concern student fails to follow the rules then they will be exempted from the examination.
In the 2016 board exam, for review of the answer papers maximum three subjects can be sent. As per the notice, the subject which was holding project works earlier, from 2016 the project work will be replaced by extra questions during the board exam.
Further, the continuing, special, single subject holder students were asked to communicate with their concern school. However, the school authorities were asked to inform the students about the 2015-16 calendar where applications of the concern examination and the dates are mentioned.
