TELIAMURA, March 1 (TIWN): After Modi Govt. had announced for farmer-friendly budget, Tripura Govt. has initiated new strategy to get the sympathy of farmers.

As state govt. knows that under the Modi Govt. they will have so many projects for the farmers of Tripura in this coming days, so under ICAR, Dept. of Agriculture, under Tripura Govt. has arranged one day work-shop with farmers at Gopal Nagar, under Kalyanpur block, Teliamura.

The workshop was under National food security Mission. In this workshop farmers were selected who have been benefited by using new methods in agriculture. Planning for new crop distribution, new machine were planned.

It to be mentioned here that after Arun Jaitley has announced to think beyond food security to income security, which will double income of farmers by 2022., Tripura Govt. is planning to taking the credit in future with central investment.

The minister has announced a 228% jump in funds for rural areas and govt. has also announced for Agriculture with Rs. 17,000 crores investment, which means 86,000 crores in 5 years to make India food sufficient.

However, with this Tripura Agricultural Dept is to fool the people as they are used to fool the poor people with MGNREGA scheme.
