AGARTALA, Feb 29 (TIWN) : After the trains have arrived in state and the first BG rail reached till Agartala rail station, now the next aim is to look towards South District. Reportedly, the workers are busy now in laying the tracks and complete the track-lines till Udaipur. The rail-station which is to set up at Matabari area of Udaipur is getting decorated.

However, till day the work of rail-lines from Agartala to Udaipur was rather slow, but it was as because  the focus was at Agartala rail station. But now the focus has moved forward towards South Tripura.

It’s to be mentioned here that the dealine to complete the rail from Agartala-Udaipur is 31st March 2016.

However, the work progress as is in  good shape, so it can be said Udaipur will be soon connected with BG railway service and can be connected with Matabari railway station in the coming days.

And it is seen that workers are giving their best effort for completing the work in the given time.

In the month of November, while visiting the Matabari railway station NFR GM H.K.Jaggi also had expressed satisfaction over the progress of the work for BG conversion. Jaggi also added that rail service will began in Tripura connecting Udaipur by 31st March 2016 positively.

It’s to be mentioned here that CPI-M here is in power from 22 years and at central the UPA-govt-1 and UPA Govt. 2 was for 10 years. But NE zone had remained as backward as ealier.

But surprisingly both the CPI-M and Cong. are blaming the BJP govt. just after after the rail budget was announced by Indian Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu, Tripura Ministers started to cry over the budget-plan and however, bringing allegation against the BJP govt. for not focusing on Tripura and not representing a clear idea what the central govt. will actually do with the railway set up. “Central govt. has not made it clear how much rail line will be increased in the country”, said Manik Dey.

But, during the speech at Parliament on Thursday, Prabhu had clearly said that about 5,300 km rail tracks will be increased more in the backward states. As a result, Manik Dey’s speech against the central Govt. has created controversy among the common public.

It’s to be mentioned here that whether Minister Manik Dey told reporters that Govt. has neglected the Northeast by not providing adequate funds for the new constructions and on going constructions of railway infrastructure in the region, but on the other hand it’s the same govt.(BJP)  who brought rail-line here in “real”.
