AGARTALA, Feb 25 (TIWN): With an aim to meet the deadline, the construction agency where working in full fledged manner it is expected that the beginning of the monsoon season may hit the construction work of flyover.

Flyover construction which is suppose to get end within 3 years of tenure may get disrupt with the beginning of the monsoon season.

Due to the flyover construction the roads have turned very pathetic, everywhere potholes are observed.

However, in the dry season itself the passerby has been facing problem and with the beginning of the monsoon the commuters and the locals are expected to be hit seriously.

In the dry season itself the conditions of the roads are running poor, it seems like with the beginning of the monsoon the construction site may create problem for the commuters.

At present construction at the Bardowali area and the Battala is going on in full-fledged manner.

However, the main motive of creating the flyover bridge is to seek solution to hectic traffic jam at Battala. As day by day the population and the number of vehicles are increasing, the problem is arising in traffic system too.

The first ever 2-lane flyover in the capital city is expected to lower the traffic jam by at least 40% to 45% and it will make a smooth fast track movement of the vehicles but the period of the construction is creating havoc.

On the other hand, following the unlawful condition of the roads resentment is brewing among those people who take the route through Battala. Some of the pedestrians raised a complaint but until and unless the flyover construction gets over nothing can be done.

When on the dry season the when common mass had to suffer so much, in the monsoon what will be the situation.

Public has been suffering immensely day after day and it is expected that it will continue until the flyover work gets over.

However, driving through this route has merely become impossible.  Irregular parking of vehicles, commuting passengers from any spot of the road, parking of the school vehicles at odd spots leads to the traffic jam.
