AGARTALA, Feb 25 (TIWN): Common mass of the state where facing LPG crisis for prolonged many days, the establishment of new gas bottling plant at Bodhjungnagar has no updates yet.
Despite of several months has passed that the concern officials has taken the initiatives to establish a new gas bottling plant to meet the need of the State’s public of 12 LPG cylinders in a year, till day no update has been witnessed.

Earlier, sources mentioned that demarcation of the land has been done at the industrial sector of Bodhjung Nagar.

Besides, it has been mentioned that letters for permission from the higher authority for the installation of the bottling plant has already been sent. After the officials get the permission within no time the work for the establishment of the gas bottling plant will be started.

Now the question arises, despite of knowing the fact that the state is facing LPG crisis for prolonged many days why the concern authority is delaying the process of providing the permission for the installation of the bottling plant.

It is to be mentioned here that with the commencement of the bottling plants, it is expected that people of the state are going to get relief from the prolonged crisis of the LPG cooking gas.

It is to be mentioned here that the IOC wants to establish the mega gas bottling plant by next two years. If the plant is operational, it will produce 200 trucks LPG per day.

Once the new gas bottling plant is operational, it will be able to supply refilled LPG cylinder to outside the state also, said sources.

However, establishment of the new Gas Bottling Plant at Bodhjungnagar Industrial Estate in Jirania subdivision can bring some relief in the state regarding the rising crisis of the LPG cooking gas cylinders.
