AGARTALA, Feb 24 (TIWN) : Tripura Village Council begins peacefully and was going to be held in 587 village committee. Ruling Party already elected in 58 Village Council without contest.

 Almost   645,840 voters including 318,909 females will cast their votes. Commission deployed 12 companies of CRPF along with 10,570 state police including forest guards and home guards and 6000 Tripura State Rifles (TSR) jawans in 528 of 587 village committees.

State election commissioner G K Rao appeal voters to vote their valuable vote peacefully.
