AGARTALA, Feb 19 (TIWN): Day after day recovery of dead bodies has become daily report for the media channels and the newspapers.
Despite of several tall claims by the ministerial authority the crime rate has decreased in the State every time the news of recovery of dead bodies blinks.
However, reports seem that the capital has virtually become a dumping ground for bodies. Reports of the unidentified dead bodies have become a daily feed for the news papers and the channels in the so called Golden era of the left rule government.
Bodies of several persons who have been killed are thrown on roads, drains, railway tracks and secluded areas and they are yet unidentified.
Day after day dead bodies are being recovered from several parts of Agartala city. Though Tripura police is continuing with the investigation but it seems that the investigation and initiatives fails to curb down the rising crime.
It appears that the duty of police is so far limited to report the murder case and sent the bodies for post-mortem.
The State has become a hub of crimes where one after other day heinous incident related to murder is reported from every corner and police is simply playing the role silent spectator.
It is to be mentioned here that infant bodies has also become rampant in various area in the capital and in the interior parts of the state.
Bodies of several persons who have been killed are thrown on roads, drains, railway tracks and secluded areas and they are unidentified.
Agartala, being the capital of the state, has been developing at a rapid pace. This urbanization has also led to certain factors which have a bearing on the crime rate in the city.
However, allegation has been raised that strict initiatives must be taken to curb down rising crime in the State which includes murder cases, rape cases, kidnapping and various others.
