Agartala, Sep16, (TIWN) Based on the complaint of one Jhulan Das as she alleged that her husband Ratan Das was wrongly operated by few doctors of Agartala Government Medical College and GBP Hospital, a three-member inquiry Committee has been formed to investigate the case by the State Health Department.
The committee was also directed to submit the report on this issue within twenty-four hours. Accordingly under the leadership of Health Director Dr.S.R. Debbarma, the three-member committee went to the hospital and enquired about the matter today.
According to source, members of the Committee also called in the alleged doctors and questioned them personally.
Jhulan Das in her complaint,said, “Following the advice of senior doctors, my husband was admitted to the GBP hospital where he was to undergo a biopsy of his mouth. But the doctors conducted surgery on his abdomen and urethra instead.”
