AGARTALA, Feb 12 (TIWN) : Dipa Karmakar, the golden girl of Tripura, has been felicitated on Friday by Krishnanagar club for her achievements in gymnastic filed.

Krishananagar Club has arranged prized distribution programme on Friday after following 7 day long Children-fair at club premises. 

During the programme MLA Ratan Das, Councilor Durga Prasad Chakraborty, Mayor Parishad Biswajit Deb had been present.

It’s to be mentioned here that Krishnagar Club had started the programme on Feb 5. The programme was dedicated to the Children of Agartala city.

However, in its closing ceremony, on Friday during the prize distribution time a special focus was given to athlete Dipa Karmakar.

It’s to be mentioned here  that Dipa Karmakar is an Indian artistic gymnast from Agartala, Tripura who represents India at the international circuit.
