AGARTALA, Feb 11 (TIWN): Decked up in their best, residents of Tripura have plunged into festivities and merriment, ahead of Saraswati Puja – the biggest festival for school and college students. Chants of Bag Devi Saraswati to reverberate across the state with every city, small town and village joining in the fervor as the five-day festival got off to an electrifying start.
Thousands of men, women and children, turned up in their best on the streets of Agartala making rounds of different marquees.
Saraswati puja is the biggest celebration for the students. State Tripura has already geared up to celebrate this auspicious occasion.
Regartdless town and village all over the state school students are decoration their schools for the upcoming occasion. Already many schools have carried their idols in schools and the celebration have been geared up.
