KAMALPUR, Feb 5 (TIWN): Much like 2005, the avian influenza once again seemed to be spread in the border adjacent sub-division of Kamalpur. Especially, the border adjacent villages like Mohanpur, Malaya, Ganganagar, Sonarai, Shibbari and at many parts of nearby villages like Noagaon, Baligaon, Marachara the unnatural deaths of aviators like poultry birds and scavengers continued for almost a week.

But the farmers got busy in suppressing the happenings as bird-flu caused a heavy economical loss to them way back in 2005. Now, the dreadful past made them bold enough to consume the affected birds to stop the chance to be culled. They even got prepared to restrain the government officials and workers from culling if the situation turned so.

Now, for last one week or so, the unnatural death of poultry birds and scavengers continued in the sub-division. The farmers who used to rear pigs also started to sell those in the market. And nobody admitted the fact of deaths to government officials. Now due to the suppressing of the fact, the administration also remained standstill.

But the consumption of affected birds might break out epidemic any time among the humans.
