AGARTALA, Feb 5 (TIWN): Commission of Railway Safety, mainly known as CRS inspection will be done before March to smoothly run the BG passengers train in the state in the given deadline. NFR is all set to conduct the CRS inspection to ensure safety of the track which is newly converted from Metre gauge to Broad gauge. It is to be mentioned here that the newly converted BG rail track of two sections- Badarpur to Kumarghat and Kumarghat to Agartala would undergo CRS inspection by the end of February or early March, as claimed by the sources. CRS inspection is one of the quintessential steps to run the BG track. If everything falls in right place, the CRS inspection will be done in February or by early March and running passenger train depends on the reports of CRS inspection. If the CRS gives green signal, the track will be ready for introducing BG passenger train service by March itself. Now, the NFR authority is carrying out finishing works in two sections- Badarpur to Kumarghat and Kumarghat to Agartala to pave the way for running commercial passenger train service.Keeping the proposed Railway Budget in mind, the state government has already demanded to introduce super-fast trains connecting Delhi, Kolkata and Chennai with Agartala.

The much awaited dream of Broad-gauge conversion work is going in full swing at various railway tracks of Agartala.

With the successful run of the railway service between Lumbding and Silchar Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) is working hard at much more faster pace to bring Agartala under the country’s Broad Gauge Network by March 2016.

The successful run of the trains on the broad-gauge track will bring sync with those in the rest of the country and Tripura is gearing up for faster connectivity and communication with several parts of the nation.

In order to make the Agartala Railway Station as perfect station, different works including extension of platforms, creation of new platforms and installation of new BG rail tracks, joining of panel have started.

The workers are leaving no stones unturned to complete the conversion work in the given deadline.

Days are not so far when after the BG (Broad gauge) conversion work, Agartala will also be connected with by BG track with country’s railway network.

The pace of the conversion work shows that Agartala will soon be connected with the BG track to bring in sync with the rest of the country.

With the everyday progress in the conversion work, the common mass of the state is observing a ray of hope for faster communication and transportation by March 2016.
