Udaipur yet again hits with petrol crisis

UDAIPUR, Feb 3 (TIWN): After the capital has suffered due to prolonged severe fuel crisis for the last few days due to disruptions in supplies, the poor situation has hit the Udaipur sub-division.

Most of the petrol pumps in the area hanged play cards of 'no petrol' and long queues were seen outside a lone petrol pump.

Reportedly, in the petrol pump namely Ashoke Petroleum Agency located at Udaipur sub-division long queue of vehicles has been observed.

The people complained that they had to wait for long hours to get their turn to fill petrol and could not do many important works.

It seems like to get petrol from any of the petrol pump has become a challenge and a matter of patience as the riders had to wait for prologue many hours.

Besides, the situation has leads the black marketing of petrol flourished in the area and the common mass are bound to buy petrol with higher rates.

It is to be mentioned here that taking advantage of the situation the petrol dealers of the State were emerging in a new trend to earn more money through black marketing which causes artificial petrol crisis in the State.

The acute diesel as well as petrol crisis created chaos among the state people. Following the crisis in Tripura, movement of vehicles has been collapsed partially. Especially the vehicles move to out of the state is facing difficulties at such situation.

Stressing over the situation, a consumer stated that authority of the state should take some measure to overcome the crisis because we have been waiting for hours to fill petrol.

The prolonged crisis faced by the common mass has disrupted the daily movement in the area.

In the beginning the shortage affected heavy vehicles requiring large diesel refill, but has eventually hit the normal commuters as well. As things stand, many trucks are on standby on city outskirts in demand of diesel.

However, few days earlier the capital was also massively hit with petrol crisis ‘No Petrol’ board has been hanging for prolonged three days in various petrol pumps of the capital.

It is to be mentioned here that the crisis of petrol has occurred due to prolonged dilapidated condition of the National Highway 44 and the Lorries were stuck.

On the other hand, residence of the capital are also facing problem due to lack of auto as the CNG auto owners were asked for hydro testing for CNG.

With the less numbers of vehicles during the office hour has created problem for the passengers and the office going people.

Hydrostatic test is a procedure wherein the faults, leakage are tested. In this test, the pressure in the gas cylinder is being tested through filling water and attaching the cylinder with a test jacket filled with water. The pressure is constantly increased and decreased.
