AGARTALA, Jan 30 (TIWN): After months of the sensational murder case of 50 years old Santa Saha in her own residence on August 17, the prime accused of the murder case husband Dipak Saha and lawyer Simita Chakraborty were released on bail on the issue from Tripura HC on Saturday. Both the prime accused husband Dipak Saha and lawyer Simita Chakraborty were released on bail from Tripura HC after police failed to put up relevant evidence against the accused. It is to be mentioned here that due to lack of evidence against the accused HC has released the accused on bail.Loopholes in police investigation from the end of police have led the HC to release the accused on bail. The so called ‘efficient’ team of the Tripura police in this ever puffed golden-era of Chief Minister Manik Sarkar is yet failure to dig out any information related to the sensational murder case of 50 years old Santa Saha in her own residence on August 17.

Corruption has touched its ultimatum, and police has chosen to play the role of silent spectator.

So far police has been misdirecting the people by suspecting the involvement of the deceased elder son, Dipjoy saha, her husband and many other relatives behind the murder. Unfortunately, police even could not collect any evidence against their suspicion.

It appears from the scene that murder has become a regular stuff in the state and like all other cases the Santa Saha murder case will also be dumped under the loads of files of different other cases.

Question is raised against the role of the police.  Couple of months have passed, what are the Tripura police doing other than clamoring the call of the “investigation is under way”.

Apart from hitting the stone in dark police is not doing anything else.

It is shameful incident for the state, that couple of months have passed since the murder and police of ‘Golden–era’ is yet failure to nail any of the culprits related to the incident.

Reportedly, resentment brewed up after a gang of miscreants on August 17 morning brutally murdered a 50 year old house wife in her own residence at Shyamali Bazaar quarter complex area. When all the family members of the deceased were out of the house and she was alone at her home the miscreants thronged into her room and murdered he with sharp weapons. The miscreants attacked her brutally with a sharp weapon and left her dead on the spot.

Multiple injuries from sharp weapon were found in her body and was left dead in her own house.

Getting alarm, the police of NCC police station reached the spot with dog squad and forensic team and started investigation and even after one week police is further investigating the case.
