KAMALPUR, Jan 27 (TIWN): “Vartalap”- the media communication of the central agency PIB (Press Information Bureau) was held at Kamalpur today. The one-day media discussion information gathering workshop was held at the Nazrul Bhavan. In this regard, the faculties discussed on different matters related to the media persons.

Almost 45 media persons from Dhalai and Khowai districts participated in that workshop. The workshop was inaugurated by the DCM Amaresh Barman and presided over by the Nagar Panchayat Vice-Chairperson Khana Das. 

The Secretary of Kamalpur Press Club Supriyo Datta also shared the inaugural function with the prominent journalists like Ashis Bose of the Anandabazar Patrika, Biswendu Bhattacharjee of Times of India, Pradip Dutta Bhowmik of the Dainik Sambad and Pranab Sarkar of the Headlines Tripura.

After the inaugural session, technical session started where Asis Bose from Anandabaazar Patrika, Biswendu Bhattacharjee from the Times of India, Pradip Dutta Bhowmik from the Dainik Sambad and Pranab Sarkar from the Headlines Tripura discussed bout different issues, limitations and rights of the persons working in the field of media.

The program concluded with the valedictory speech by the Media and Communication Officer of PIB, Sudipto Sen.
