KALYANPUR Jan 25 (TIWN) In order to encourage more young voters to take part in the political process, Government of India had decided to celebrate January 25 every year as 'National Voters' Day'. It started from January 25th 2011 to mark Commission's foundation day.
On Monday 6thNational Voters Day has been duly observed at Kalyanpur Block community hall in the presence of DCM Pranay Debnath, BDO Subha Gupta leaded by the guest of honor the Headmaster of Kalyanpur HS School Bir Mohan Debbarma and many more.
At the beginning of the program DCM Pranay Debnath administered oath to the new voters of our nation . After that one get together held with the all new voters.
All total 100 new voter IDs had been distributed between new voters. After getting their own all new voter IDs all them got very excited with that and very happy also.
In addition the above event held in a empty hall and the event began late from its scheduled time.
