AGARTALA, Jan 23 (TIWN) : Along with the whole nation state Tripura is celebrating Netaji's 119th Brith anniversary with full enthusiasm. Every subdivisions are paying homage to the freedom fighter Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose on his 119th birth anniversary today.Several functions have been organised across the state to mark the birth anniversary of one of the leading lights of the Indian freedom struggle. In every schools, organizations of Tripura, people paid homage to the great freedom fighter Netaji.Especially the Bengali people posses a certain amount of emotion for Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose.Reportedly, Prime Minister Narendra Modi l released digital copies of 100 files related to Netaji Bose following government’s decision to declassify files on the freedom fighter. The files, digitised and given preliminary conservation treatment by the National Archives of India, will be released on the birth anniversary of Netaji.
So, Like every year, the main function has been observed at Netaji Subhas Vidya Niketan school, Agartala. Netaji school celebrated the birthday of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose in a grand manner on January 23 morning. Their programme was followed by a huge rally across Agartala.
Subhash Chandra Bose was an Indian nationalist and famous by the title Netaji, born on 23rd of January in the year 1897 in the Cuttack, Orissa Division of Bengal Province.
Between 1920s and 1930s, he was a leader of the Indian National Congress and became the Congress President from 1938-1939. Later he was expelled from the Congress in the year 1939 and sited under the house arrest by the British.
