UDAIPUR, Jan 23 (TIWN): Along with the state, Udaipur sub-division also remembered the Indian nationalist Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose on his birth anniversary on Saturday.
To mark the auspicious occasion, the Udaipur Netaji Subhash Vidyaniketan on Saturday organized a procession with the student of the school displaying over various theme.
Besides, all the political parties also pay tribute to the statue of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose and remember him on his birth anniversary.
On the other hand, various organizations like forward bloc, AIMCC and others also observed the day.
Besides, the Tripura Pradesh Congress Committee and other political party also remembered Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose in his Birth Anniversary.
On this occasion Prime Minister Narendra Modi today released digital copies of 100 declassified files related to Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose at the National Archives of India (NAI).
Subhas Chandra Bose, affectionately called as Netaji, was one of the most prominent leaders of Indian freedom struggle.
He founded Indian National Army (Azad Hind Fauj) to overthrow British Empire from India and came to acquire legendary status among Indian masses.
Indian nationalist Subhash Chandra Bose was born on 23rd of January in the year 1897 in the Cuttack, Orissa Division of Bengal Province.
Between 1920s and 1930s, he was a leader of the Indian National Congress and became the Congress President from 1938-1939. Later he was expelled from the Congress in the year 1939 and sited under the house arrest by the British.
