AGARTALA, Jan 22 (TIWN) : TET result for Primary & Senior Basic have been published on Thursday night. According to the sources, a huge number of candidates have been cleared the exam. Surprisingly, the result was declared much before the estimated time as it was just 1 month before that the exam was held.

However, it was after the central govt. and Tripura High Court pressurized the state govt. of Tripura to fill the vacancies in a “fair manner”.

Allegations were brought against the state govt. that after the left front govt. came in power it kept on selecting candidates as per wish for the posts of teachers. However, already 10,323 teachers jobs are hanging at Supreme Court which is known to all.

After that State govt. of Tripura will conducted Tripura Teachers Eligibility Test (TRTET), also known as Tripura TET , as per the formalities laid down by the central regulating authorities. Tripura TET is for the candidates aspiring to become teachers in primary (class I -V) and upper primary (VI-VIII) schools in the state of Tripura.

TRTET 2016 notifications are released by the Department of School Education, Tripura or concerned examination board as directed by the Government of Tripura. TET is a compulsory examination for all the B.Ed. qualified candidates to be considered for teacher jobs in schools run by the government and private managements. Candidates may be facilitated to apply online for this examination.
