Agartala,September 15(TIWN): A female doctor and a male nurse of Kakraban hospital located at Gomti district about 80 KM from Agartala was assaulted on 14 September around 9.30 PM.

Officer - in - charge of Kakraban police station informed that Dr. Sudhesna Nath and male nurse Narayan Chandra Das were performing night shift duty when assaulted by patient party.A complain was lodged at Kakraban police station. There are no reports of any arrest. It is to be noted that few months back a female doctor of Chawmanu hosptial, under North Tripura district was also assaulted by by some miscreants.
