AGARTALA, Jan 12 (TIWN): In a series of inaugurations of establishments held today at GC, CRPF, Adarini, Agartala, Shri Ravideep Singh Sahi DIG, first inaugurated ‘Hall of Fame’ of Gallant officers & men. Speaking on the occasion ] Sahi threw light on the sacrifices made by martyrs for the cause of Nation.

Besides that, he also explained the contribution made by the Gallantry Awards, Arjuna Awards, Padma Shree Award winners in the service of Nation.

The  “Hall of Fame” has been prepared for displaying photographs of various medal awardees i.e. (George Cross, King’s Police Medal for Gallantry, Ashok Chakra, Vir Chakra, Shaurya Chakra, Padam Shree, Sena Medal, Jeevan Raksha Padak & President Police Medal for Gallantry) of CRPF (Officers/Personnel). ‘Parivar Kalyan Gas Agency’ has also been inaugurated by Sh. Sahi located at GC Campus for welfare of Jawans.

Petrol Pump has also been inaugurated which ensures supply of POL to user  units.

 To mark these occasions. Senior Officers and Jawans available in campus took part with enthusiasm as “Hall of Fame” stands for gallant action of Officers and Jawan exhibited during service career which brings laurel to the Force.
