AGARTALA, Jan 7 (TIWN): Manik Dey Power Minister accompanied by state officials will be taking part in a tripartite meeting of the Centre, Government of Bangladesh and Tripura Government on January 9 regarding Transmission of Power from Palatana project.

Along with Manik Dey, Principal Secretary S K Rakesh, CMD of Tripura State Electricity Corporation Ltd (TSECL) S K Roy and Assistant General Manager TSECL Mahananda Debbarma and three officials from Ministry of Power will leave for Bangladesh on Friday. 
 

According to the report, the discussion will be held on power transmission, supply and rate of power tariff for 100 MW power to be supplied to Bangladesh from Palatana.
