BELONIA, Jan 2 (TIWN): Theft cases on a rise in Belonia town border area as this portion of the border is left unfenced.
12 ft high single barbed fencing work is going on by NBCC. But the quality of his work is very bad as far as materials like sand, bricks, rod , cement are concerned.
Reportedly, local people are also worried that entire water of Belonia town passes through this way to Bangladesh. It is suspected that the construction of fencing will wash away by the force of water if the water is prevented by fencing.
There is also no survey by administrative authority of the Subdivision or BSF to supervise the quality of work. Sources said that lot of resentment prevailing among people due to poor construction work of border fencing.
