NEW DELHI / AGARTALA, Dec 29 (TIWN): CPI-M's wine lover general secretary Sitaram Yechury spent long time and energy to attack Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and Hindu fundamentalist parties on 2nd day of plenum session at Kolkata but never uttered a single word against rapid growing Islamic fundamentalism, radical Islam and terrorism as hypocrite Yechury didn't take risk to upset minority support base. Addressing mediapersons on the second day of the party organisational plenum here, Communist Party of India-Marxist general secretary Sitaram Yechury said the party will adopt novel ways to counter the penetration made by the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and other communal forces among the people."The RSS and other communal forces have invaded the various spheres of the youth and are constantly penetrating among the people by propagating and intensifying communal polarisation. "We need to counter this penetration by reaching out to the masses particularly the marginalised sections through novel methods," Yechury burped. Yechury married 2nd time a muslim woman Seema Chisti which most likely influenced him to take anti-hindu stance and not condemning Islamic terrorism.

Otherwise Yechury would have condemned ISS and all Islamic fundamentalism but CPI-M general secretary kept his venomous attack limited to Hindu fundamentalists.Conceding that it needed enormous organisational strength to counter the challenges posed by communal forces, the CPI-M on Monday said it will take up the issues of economic exploitation and social oppression in a big way to reach out to the masses.

"We need to counter this penetration by reaching out to the masses particularly the marginalised sections through novel methods," he said.

"They are seeking to replace Indian history with Hindu mythology and replace Indian philosophy with Hindu theology.

"Unless party organisation becomes stronger, it is not possible to meet the challenges posed by the communal forces. To counter this, our organisational strength has to grow enormously. That is the exercise we are undertaking in this plenum," said Yechury.

Talking about the novel methods, Yechury said the party will be targeting the unorganised sector which constitutes the bulk of the work force, students youth as well marginalised sections of the society by taking up the issues of social oppression and economic exploitation in a big way.

The party will be projecting its alternate economic policies as opposed to the neo-liberal policies pursued by the Narendra Modi-led Bharatiya Janata Party central government.

However, party led by highly unpopular leaders like Prakash Karat, Sitaram Yechury, Brinda Karat - CPI-M's old leadership is hell bent on controlling party hierarchy by hook or crook so that from central committee to politburo - no young generation member can step into take leading postion.

Sitaram Yechury, Brinda Karat also so scared to fight in Lok Sabha elections due to unpopularity that they have chosen backdoor via Rajya Sabha to enter into Parliament.
