Tripura to undergo severe cold in the coming days : Confirmed Met Department

AGARTALA, Dec 27 (TIWN): Common mass of Tripura to undergo severe cold in the coming days, as the temperature is likely to fall, confirmed Tripura Metrology Department on Sunday.

Talking to TIWN correspondent, Met official said that the temperature nay decrease more from January 1.

Mentioning the temperature of Sunday, Met Official said that the maximum temperature was 26.6 degree Celsius and the minimum will be 8.0 degree Celsius.

Besides, he also mentioned that yesterday the maximum temperature was 24.4 degree Celsius and the minimum was 8.4.

The meteorological forecast also said that day temperatures are set to fall in Tripura with the weather taking a turn for the worse as another cold spell approaches. Colder days will follow rapidly, he warned.

It has been mentioned that till January 1 the temperature is likely to loiter between 8 degree to 9 degree Celsius.

Life gets crippled across the State mostly during the winter season. Due to chill attendance seem to get poor in most schools. Besides, people feel lazy to go to work.

However, Tripura experiencing the shivering cold as the minimum temperature continues to fluctuate between 8 and 9 degree Celsius.

The sky is clear and no rainfall is expected, said Met official.

However, the fall in the temperature in the coming days which will cripple the life of the State. Besides, if there rain comes than it would hamper the cultivation of the farmers.

Farmers need to exercise extra caution and take remedial measures, though there is no sign of rainfall but the sudden rainfall may spoil the prolonged hard work of the farmers.
